Letter from Gary Roberts at Camp Mills in New York, to his grandmother and others in Alabama.

TRANSCRIPT INCLUDED. During World War I, Roberts served in Company B of the 167th U.S. Infantry Regiment. In the letter he discusses food and weather, emphasizing the differences between home and New York. He wrote the letter, which is on Y.M.C.A. stationery, while being treated for malaria at the camp hospital.
